The song was first released in April 1984. My kids love the video directed by Marty Callner where a father, played by Mark Metcalf, a veteran, is disgusted by his son who is "worthless and weak" and just wants to rock. The video then vamps into the heavy rock song where the father is roundly trounced by the rockers. My kids find it hilarious and the song is heard often in our house.

Good rock and roll, like good slapstick comedy, will never go out of style.
