Steak Experiment

Steak has always been a favourite of mine. My dad consistently makes a fabulous steak.

For dinner I tried a recipe my friend Amy recommended. I marinated two steaks, one in teriyaki and one in balsamic vinagrette, overnight and put them on a broiling pan in the oven when I got home tonight. They came up pretty well and my kids seemed to enjoy them. I was feeling pretty good about my experiment until they called papa and said “Mommy’s steak was good, Papa, but no where near as good as yours.”

Always room to improve...
